Saturdays.
Today was a not-so-rare-anymore full day working Saturday. It was bad. We had a presentation in the morning by a Korean who kept staring at people and wondering. I could hardly hear him speak honestly. Mr. Lee is very soft spoken man.
Lunch was not a routine affair. We went to a sidey eatery right opposite. The place is in shambles. Its unclean, smelly, dingy and any order takes an eon to arrive. And inspite all this, lunch was a pleasant affair.
And after that, back to the presentation. Most of them skipped. I was almost dozing off in between nodding my head and making efforts to crinkle my forehead. And so was my colleague; lets not forget. And yet, I did decently in the after-quiz. Although I didn't not shout out the answers. Well I really like to stay invisible. Like Kitty or Nightcrawler. Just appear out of the desk or teleport suddenly at random locations to provide some much-needed entertainment in oh-so-boring presentations.
The result of this was that people actually thought I was there because I didn't have work (which by the way is totally preposterous. I am loaded with work)
Then a mass exodus happened. It was quite cool actually.
Then tiredness happened. Then realization happened.
The day just got worse.
That is one of the remarkable things about life. Its never so bad that it cant get worse.
